OKay. First post. Yikes. It's like a big blank piece of paper. Something that has always freaked me out a little bit. Especially the bound books, you know the one's I mean, beautiful books with those blank pages. No perforations. Nothing but blank space waiting to be fillied. All a bit intimidating. I'm sure this will get easier as I go along, but for right now, I'm babbling. I do that when I'm nervous. And combine blank page writer's anxiety attack with introducing myself to new people and the nagging feeling that I could be talking to an utterly empty room, or the whole frickin world, and well, it's enough to make me a tad nervous, see?
So, the basics.
This blog is intended as a personal site, and a place to post pictures.
I love pictures. Ones I take, other people's photos, whatever. I'm just a very visually oriented person who hasn't developed much artistic talent beyond setting up a picture and cropping it to get a nice composition.
Why Mammaratzi? Well, I take a lot of pictures (just ask my family or friends!) but my main subject tends to be my young son. He's all the celebrity I need, and even if I don't pull in the big bucks like the papparatzi, at least I'll end up with a full photo album to embarass him with once he's grown!
I'd be happy to post links to other people's photo sites, but that will have to wait for a bit as I figure out how to set up the website a bit to personalize it and get comfy.
